Congress Leader Shakir Sanadi Raises Concern Over Bad Road Condition in Hubballi, Seeks Minister’s Intervention
Hubballi: KPCC General Secretary, son of former MP IG Sanadi, Shakir Sanadi, recently wrote a letter to District-in-Charge Minister Santosh Lad.
In the letter, submitted to Minister Lad during Janata Darshan programme in Dharwad, he expressed his concern about the poor condition of the road in Ashok Nagar area and requested the minister to instruct the relevant department officials to undertake road development work.
Shakir highlighted that the road from Ashok Nagar Railway Under Bridge to Nrupatunga Betta had been dug up by L&T company to lay water pipelines, but even after eight months, it had not been properly repaired or asphalted. As a result, the area residents have been experiencing health issues due to the dust and facing difficulties.
Despite their efforts to seek assistance from the PWD office and Hubballi Dharwad Smart City Limited, the officials have been passing the responsibility to each other, he charged.
Shakir urged the minister to intervene and ensure that the road work is carried out promptly to alleviate the problems faced by the residents, including health hazards and accidents caused by the poor road conditions.
